Harriers honored with first KP All-County Cross Country team

Even though the cross country season has been over for some time, the Kokomo Perspective would like to recognize cross country runners from five Howard County schools.  Local coaches provided the information on this year’s selections.

Here are the members of the first Kokomo Perspective All-County Cross Country team, including school, grade and accomplishments:


Boys 

First team

Adrian Glover, Kokomo (12), 3rd in sectional, 4th in regional, won Western Invitational, ran season best of 15:59

Chris Love, Western (12), 4th in sectional and 13th in regional

Matt Grider, Western (9) 6th in sectional and 9th in regional

Dylan Walker, Kokomo (12), 8th in sectional, 5th in regional, and had season best of 16:23

Ryan Horner, Eastern (12), 9th in sectional and 7th in regional

 Second team

Chris Nunan, Western (12), 10th in sectional and 26th in regional

Braxton Bagwell, Western (10), 21st in sectional and 20th in regional

Sam Freeman, Northwestern (12), 14th in sectional and 28th in regional

Austin Elliott, Western (9), 25th in sectional and 25th in regional

Kyle Starich, Western (12), 26th in sectional and 37th in regional


 Girls

First team

 Bethany Neeley, Eastern (10), 1st in sectional, 2nd in regional, and qualified for state meet

Brittany Neeley, Eastern (10), 2nd in sectional and 3rd in regional

Sarah Wagner, Eastern (10), 5th in sectional and 9th in regional

Hannah Ault, Northwestern (12), 9th in sectional and 13th in regional

Krissy Durr, Western (11), 8th in sectional and 16th in regional

Brittany Jocius, Northwestern (10), 12th in sectional and 14th in regional

Emily Wilcox, Eastern (12), 10th in sectional and 19th in regional

Erin Weber, Western (11), 16th in sectional and 24th in regional
